Specifications

Function: install V-COIL wire thread inserts into STI tapped holes
Designed for tangless V-COIL notch inserts
No tang removal required after installation
Threaded mandrel body with drive shank
Drive end: 1/4 inch hex
Compatible with hand wrench, torque wrench or power screwdriver
Installation tool only; does not cut threads
Requires hole pre-tapped with matching STI tap
Use with V-COIL inserts of identical thread size
Insert driven to specified depth, tool withdrawn in reverse
Final step of three-stage thread repair: drill, STI tap, insert
Applications: thread repair, reinforcement of soft materials
Use areas: maintenance, repair workshops, assembly benches
Thread-size specific; adjacent sizes not interchangeable
