Specifications

  • Function: cutting and recutting external tapered pipe threads
  • Thread profile: NPTF tapered pipe thread
  • Thread tolerance class: medium
  • Thread direction: right-hand
  • Design: round die, circular body with chamfered lead
  • Outside diameter: 50 mm, uniform across the family
  • Mounting: die stock or die holder with 50 mm seat
  • Split design with adjusting slot for diameter correction
  • Clamping: side locking screws and centre screw seats
  • Ground cutting edges for clean thread flanks
  • Use: hand threading on bolts, studs, shafts, pipe ends
  • Blank requires chamfered end for straight engagement
  • Cutting oil recommended during operation
