  • Shank diameter equal to or above thread diameter
  • Form C chamfer: 2–3 thread leads
  • Spiral flute, 39° helix angle
  • Chip evacuation upward, out of the hole
  • Designed for blind holes
  • Thread tolerance class: ISO2 (6H)
  • Substrate: powder metallurgy high speed steel HSSE-PM
  • Fine, uniform grain structure; high toughness
  • Coating: TiN, approx. 2,600 HV
  • Colour code: green ring
  • Suited to unalloyed steel up to approx. 1,000 N/mm²
  • Also for malleable cast iron and thermoplastics
  • Square drive on shank for torque transmission
  • Use on drilling machines, tapping machines, machining centres
  • Thread cut in a single pass
  • Recommended with axial compensation tapping chuck
  • Cutting oil required, matched to workpiece material
  • Core hole drilled and chamfered before tapping
