  • Spiral point geometry, chamfer 3.5–5 threads
  • Chip evacuation forward, ahead of the tap
  • Designed for through holes
  • Square drive shank end for torque transmission
  • Operation on drilling machines, tapping machines, machining centres
  • Cutting oil required, matched to workpiece material
  • Pilot hole must be chamfered before tapping
  • Thread check with internal thread gauge after tapping
  • Applications: maintenance, mechanical engineering, mould and jig making
