VÖLKEL GO STI thread plug gauge, metric fine M36 – M52, 10 sizes, to DIN ISO 1502. Separate GO gauge for large sizes. For tapped holes that take wire thread inserts.

  • Function: GO limit gauge for internal threads
  • Checks tapped holes prepared for wire thread inserts
  • STI holes: larger than standard threads, require dedicated gauge
  • GO member supplied as separate single piece
  • Pairs with matching NOGO gauge for full inspection
  • Right-hand thread
  • Inspection use only: no cutting, tapping or thread repair
  • GO gauge must enter by hand, without force
  • Resistance on entry indicates undersize, dirty or damaged thread
  • Pass/fail result, independent of operator
  • Applications: production, maintenance, tool room, incoming inspection
  • Used after tapping, cleaning or thread repair
  • External threads require ring gauges, not plug gauges
