1. Preparation: Drill out the damaged thread to the correct core diameter, deburr and clean the hole.
2. Cut the STI thread: Use the included STI hand tap M 42 × 3.0 with suitable cutting oil for smooth operation.
3. Insert the wire thread: Screw the insert in using the inserting tool until it is flush or slightly below the surface.
4. Break tang: Remove the tang carefully using the tang break-off tool.
5. Check: Verify thread fit with a screw or gauge and clean the repaired area.
