Description

VÖLKEL NOGO STI thread plug gauge, metric M36 – M52, 6 sizes, to DIN ISO 1502. Separate NOGO gauge for large sizes. For tapped holes that take wire thread inserts.

Specifications

  • Function: NOGO limit gauge for internal threads
  • Checks tapped holes prepared for wire thread inserts
  • STI holes: larger than standard tapped holes, same designation
  • Supplied as separate NOGO gauge, one piece per code
  • Pairs with matching GO gauge of identical designation
  • Gauge must not screw in beyond permitted inspection limit
  • Excessive entry indicates thread oversize, out of tolerance
  • Inspection only: not for cutting, reforming or cleaning threads
  • Right-hand thread
  • Application sequence: STI tap, gauge check, then insert fitting
  • Use: production, maintenance, tool rooms, incoming inspection
  • Screw in by hand, without force
  • Clean chips, dust and burrs before gauging
  • For external threads use ring gauges instead
