Form C: short chamfer of 2–3 thread turns
Material: HSS-G, ground high-speed steel
Thread tolerance class: medium
Suitable for through holes and blind holes
Cylindrical shank with square drive for tap holders
Threads close to the bottom of blind holes
Runs on drilling machines, tapping machines, machining centres
Use axial compensation tap chuck on non-synchronised machines
Requires pre-drilled hole of specified diameter, chamfered edge
Cutting oil matched to workpiece material recommended
Applications: maintenance, mechanical engineering, jig and mould making
