  • Form B: spiral point chamfer, 3.5–5 thread lead
  • Chip evacuation forward, ahead of the tap
  • Intended for through holes
  • Material: HSS-G, ground high-speed steel
  • Thread tolerance class: ISO2 (6H)
  • Single-pass threading in one operation
  • For drilling machines, tapping machines, machining centres
  • Use with axial-compensation tapping chuck when feed not synchronised
  • Requires cutting oil matched to workpiece material
  • Pilot hole drilled and chamfered before tapping
