  • Thread system: G (BSP) cylindrical pipe thread
  • Standard: DIN 5156
  • Coating: TiN, hardness approx. 2,600 HV
  • Form B: spiral point geometry, 3.5–5 thread chamfer lead
  • Chip evacuation forward, designed for through holes
  • Thread tolerance class: medium
  • Cylindrical shank with square drive for tap holders
  • Operation on drilling machines, tapping machines, machining centres
  • Requires pre-drilled hole per tapping drill table
  • Use with cutting oil matched to workpiece material
  • Compatible with axial compensation tapping chucks
