Step-by-Step Instructions

Preparation: Clean the damaged thread and pre-drill to the recommended core hole diameter.
Tapping: Cut the STI thread with the HSS-G tap BSF 1" × 10 using suitable cutting oil.
Insertion: Screw the stainless steel insert in with the manual inserting tool until flush.
Tang break: Break off the tang with a suitable tang break tool.
Inspection: Check the repaired thread with a matching screw.
