The V-COIL Thread Repair Workshop Kit M 5 – M 12 provides you with all essential sizes for professional thread repair. It allows you to restore worn or damaged internal threads quickly, safely and permanently. The stainless steel wire thread inserts deliver long-lasting, high-strength threads—perfect for workshops, maintenance, installation work and small series production.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preparation: Clean the damaged thread and remove chips, dirt, grease and residues.
  2. Drilling: Select the appropriate STI twist drill and prepare the core hole for the insert.
  3. Tapping: Tap the STI thread using the suitable STI tap for the selected dimension.
  4. Insert Installation: Select the correct inserting tool and insert type. Wind the insert into the STI thread with light downward pressure.
  5. Tang Removal: Remove the tang using the appropriate tang break tool.
  6. Final Check: Test the repaired thread with a matching screw to confirm smooth operation and load capability.
