The tangless V-COIL notch sửa ren kit M 3 x 0.5 – 1.5 D gives you a reliable solution for thread reinforcement and sửa ren in one compact set. Like the familiar V-COIL inserts, V-COIL notch inserts are designed for durable ren trong — but with one key advantage: the risk of losing a tang during break-off is eliminated.

The installation is built around the dedicated V-COIL notch installation tool. It features a spring-loaded blade that engages the driver notch of the insert and holds it securely. Because the notches are present on both ends of the insert, you don’t need to worry about which end is facing forward during installation.

For consistent results, the installation tools include a depth stop nut which you set to the required screw-in depth using a lock nut. The tool’s ¼" hexagon drive means you can operate it with common bit holders — by hand, with cordless screwdrivers, or even on stationary machines. Once the target depth is reached, you simply unscrew the tool. The blade automatically retracts and releases the insert.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Drill: Drill the core hole (or drill out the thread to be repaired) using the V-COIL STI drill.
Tap: Cut the holding thread with the V-COIL STI tap.
Load the insert: Screw the V-COIL notch insert onto the installation tool (the spring-loaded blade engages the driver notch).
Install: Screw the insert into the holding thread. Set the depth using the depth stop nut.
Release: Unscrew the tool again. The blade retracts automatically and releases the insert.
Check: Verify the repaired thread using a suitable screw.
