1. Preparation: Clean the damaged thread and remove chips, dirt, grease and residues.
2. Drilling: Select the appropriate STI twist drill and prepare the core hole for the insert.
3. Tapping: Tap the STI thread using the suitable STI tap for the selected dimension.
4. Insert Installation: Select the correct inserting tool and insert type. Wind the insert into the STI thread with light downward pressure.
5. Tang Removal: Remove the tang using the appropriate tang break tool.
6. Final Check: Test the repaired thread with a matching screw to confirm smooth operation and load capability.
