Step-by-Step Instructions
Preparation: Clean the damaged thread and remove chips, dirt, grease and residues.
Drilling: Select the appropriate STI twist drill and prepare the core hole for the insert.
Tapping: Tap the STI thread using the suitable STI tap for the selected dimension.
Insert Installation: Select the correct inserting tool and insert type. Wind the insert into the STI thread with light downward pressure.
Tang Removal: Remove the tang using the appropriate tang break tool.
Final Check: Test the repaired thread with a matching screw to confirm smooth operation and load capability.
