This 12-piece set contains 6 threading bits and 6 matching drill bits – everything you need from core hole to finished thread:

• M 3 → VÖLKEL 67026 + Drill Ø 2.5 mm
• M 4 → VÖLKEL 67030 + Drill Ø 3.3 mm
• M 5 → VÖLKEL 67034 + Drill Ø 4.2 mm
• M 6 → VÖLKEL 67038 + Drill Ø 5.0 mm
• M 8 → VÖLKEL 67042 + Drill Ø 6.8 mm

Each size combination ensures that you always have the right pair for accurate and reliable threading operations.

1. Drill the core hole: Use the included HSS-G drill bit for the selected thread size.
2. Switch tools: Replace the drill with the matching threading bit.
3. Align correctly: Keep the drill exactly perpendicular to the surface.
4. Thread cutting: Run the drill clockwise, then briefly reverse to remove chips.
5. Check the result: Clean the thread, deburr lightly, and test with a screw or bolt.

1. Can I also use the threading bits manually?
Yes, they can be used with a tap wrench for precise manual thread cutting.

2. What minimum power should my cordless drill have?
At least 7.5V, though 10.8V or higher is recommended for smoother operation.

3. Do I always need cutting oil?
Yes, cutting oil reduces friction, extends tool life, and ensures cleaner threads.

4. Can the drill bits be purchased separately?
Yes, all included drill and threading bits are available individually at VÖLKEL.

5. Which materials are these bits designed for?
For non-abrasive, machinable metals up to 900 N/mm². Not recommended for hardened steels.
