Precision Thread Plug Gauge Tol. ISO1 (4H) metric STI-Thread - M 4 x 0.7

Use this plug gauge to verify that an internal thread is within tolerance before assembly. You can use it to separate acceptable from non acceptable threads quickly in serial checks.

For reliable decisions, use consistent handling and avoid forcing the gauge past resistance. M indicates an ISO metric thread, where you match nominal size and pitch to the mating thread.

Step by step

Insert the GO side by hand and turn with light finger force until it seats or stops.
Try the NO GO side by hand and stop as soon as resistance increases.
If the feel is inconsistent, clean again and repeat the check with the same handling.
Record the result and protect the gauge with a light corrosion protection film after use.
