1. Identify the thread:
   Determine the BSP thread size (e.g. G 1/2 × 14) and select the matching tap or hexagon die nut from the set.
2. Prepare the workpiece:
   Clean the existing thread and surrounding area from dirt, corrosion or residues to ensure proper alignment.
3. Apply cutting gel:
   Apply the included cutting gel to the tool and the thread to reduce friction and improve cutting quality.
4. Recut or clean the thread:
   Carefully guide the tap or die nut straight into the thread and turn evenly using suitable hand tools.
5. Remove the tool:
   Unscrew the tool completely after reaching the required depth and clean the thread from residues.
6. Final inspection:
   Check the thread using a suitable fitting. The thread should run smoothly and seat correctly.
