1. Identify the thread:
   Determine the pipe thread size (e.g. G 1/2 or G 3/4) and select the matching tool from the set.
2. Prepare the work area:
   Clean the existing thread from dirt, deposits or corrosion to ensure proper tool guidance.
3. Apply cutting gel:
   Apply the supplied cutting gel evenly to the tool and the thread to reduce friction and improve surface quality.
4. Align the tool:
   Position the HexTap DS or hexagon die nut straight onto the thread and ensure correct alignment.
5. Rethread or clean:
   Turn the tool evenly using a ratchet, wrench or open-end spanner. Work in a controlled manner without tilting.
6. Remove the tool:
   Unscrew the tool completely after machining and clean the thread from residues.
7. Check the result:
   Test the thread with a suitable fitting or pipe connection to ensure smooth and accurate engagement.
