The V-COIL Thread Repair Kit M 39 x 3.0 – 1.5D is a complete solution for restoring or reinforcing damaged internal threads. It enables permanent repairs, strengthens soft materials and recovers rejected parts – creating new, strong and long-lasting threads ideal for maintenance, assembly and small batch production.

How it works: A special STI thread is tapped, into which a stainless steel wire insert is screwed. The result is a durable internal thread, often stronger than the original.

Preparation: Drill out the damaged thread (according to drill chart), deburr edges and clean the hole.
Cut the STI thread: Use STI Hand Tap M 39 × 3.0 with cutting oil and maintain a steady feed.
Insert the coil: Screw in the V-COIL free-running insert using the inserting tool until flush or slightly below surface.
Remove the tang (if applicable): Break off the drive tang carefully using the tang removal tool.
Inspection: Check with a gauge or screw; clean the repaired thread.
