1. Preparation: Clean the damaged thread and pre-drill with the 13 mm STI twist drill.
2. Tapping: Cut the STI thread using the HSS-G tap BSF 1/2" × 16 with suitable cutting oil.
3. Insertion: Screw in the stainless steel insert with the manual inserting tool until flush.
4. Tang break: Break off the tang with the tang break tool.
5. Inspection: Check the repaired thread with a matching screw.
