1. Preparation: Drill out the damaged thread with the included 5 mm STI drill.
2. Tapping: Cut the new STI thread using the supplied HSS-G tap BSF 3/16" × 32 with cutting oil.
3. Insertion: Install the stainless steel insert with the hand tool until flush with the surface.
4. Tang removal: Break off the tang cleanly using the tang break tool.
5. Inspection: Check the repaired thread with a test screw for proper fit.
