1. Drill out the damaged thread with the included STI twist drill (2.4 mm).
2. Cut a new, oversized receiving thread into the pre-drilled hole with the provided STI tap.
3. Mount the V-COIL inserting tool onto the thread insert and slowly screw it in until the coil is approximately 0.25 to 0.5 turns below the surface.
4. Break off the tang with the included tang break tool by lightly striking it.
5. Your new, high-strength thread is now ready for use.
