1. Select the right tap: Determine the grease fitting size and choose the corresponding tap from the kit.
2. Preparation: Remove the damaged fitting and clean the area thoroughly from grease, dirt, and rust.
3. Insert the tap: Carefully place the tap straight into the hole and begin turning clockwise with light pressure.
4. Recut the thread: Rotate steadily. Apply cutting oil to ensure smooth operation and protect the tool.
5. Finish and reinstall: Remove chips, clean the repaired thread, and screw in the new grease fitting securely.
